Extra Time for Exam

This notice is intended for students requesting extra time or other concessions in examinations because of a temporary disability, permanent disability or because of some other disability impacting their learning for the June and November 2013 examinations.
Students wishing to apply for examination concessions are reminded that applications for extra time and/or any other examination concession must be submitted to the Student Bureau by no later than Friday, 26 April 2013 for the June 2013 examination period and no later than Friday, 27 September 2013 for the November 2013 examinations.
NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
It is important that students must make applications which are in line with the University’s examinations concession policy; please note the relevant supporting documentation required; further detail of this is available on our website:

This notification only relates to new applicants or applications that have lapsed and NOT to students with current concessions still valid and applicable to the June and November 2013 examinations. Do not assume that if you had an examination concession before that it would still be valid. It remains your responsibility to check your student record or enquire about your current status.
Students with current examination concessions are reminded to email their examination details to s.flanagan@ru.ac.za, ONLY
when the final timetable has been released, but not later than 10 May 2013.
