Green Fund Run 2013

The Green Fund Run is an annual event that challenges the University and greater Grahamstown community to compete in a short 5km run/walk in order to raise money for the RU Green Fund as well as create environmental awareness.

This year, the Green Fund Run takes place on Sunday afternoon (17 March 2013) at 16:30. Early entries for the convenience of runners are on the 15 March 2013 from 9am to 3pm outside the library. Otherwise, teams must arrive on the day before the race and submit their team members and payment.

The RU Green Fund is used to facilitate the construction and implementation of Environmental projects both on campus and within the
community. The fund also caters for initiative projects that require funds to be implemented. The Rhodes and Grahamstown community all ultimately benefit from this event.
