29th February 2016 saw first year Rhodes University Commerce Extended Studies students being welcomed to the ESU programme at a special function. Mrs. Ivy De Vos, Commerce Extended Studies Co-ordinator, opened the evening by welcoming students. This was followed by an address by Professor Dave Sewry, the Rhodes University Dean of Commerce. The TAI Student Peer Mentoring Programme Co-ordinator, Ms Nicky van der Poel, announced the Commerce TAI Derek Riley Award 2015 recipients whereafter MR Patrick Hornby, Manager of Grahamstown Building Society (GBS), Awarded the GBS Bursary Awards to several recipients.

Welcome Function - Science 1st March 2016 first year Rhodes University - Science of Extended Studies Unit students being welcomed to the ESU programme at a special function and award ceremony. Dr. Karen Ellery of Science ESU co-ordinator , opened the evening by Welcoming students. Our guest speaker Ms. Muthumuni Managa (previous Extended Studies Unit student) shares her previous experience. The TAI students Peer mentoring Programme Nicky van der Poel (Co-ordinator) announced the Science TAI Derek Riley Award 2015.

The TAI students Peer mentoring Programme Nicky van der Poel (Co-ordinator) announced the Humanities TAI Derek Riley Award 2015.
