N.B. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NEW STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS/GUARDIANS

S T U D E N T   T R A N S P O R T

Rhodes University provides a transport service to all students travelling by air to Port Elizabeth and by long distance busses which terminate there journeys in Port Elizabeth.

Transport is provided from Port Elizabeth to Grahamstown at the beginning of each term and back to Port Elizabeth at the end of each term at a cost of R110.00 per student per trip which will be debited to the student account.

In order for Rhodes University to ensure the smooth operation of the transport it is important that students should observe the following and that parents/guardians should be aware of the arrangements.

The onus is on the student requiring transport to make the relevant bookings with the Transport Office no less than seven (7) days before the travel date.

All late bookings are subject to a R400.00 penalty.

Cancellations done less than 24 hours prior to the departure date will not be refunded.
