Prof Paul Walters lead the Honours excursion to Baviaan's River Valley (location of Thomas Pringle's settler party) Buffelskop, near Cradock (Olive Schreiner's grave) and Nieu Bethesda (setting for Athol Fugard's play The Road to Mecca).
