Dr. O. S. Titus holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (2000), Master of Arts in Ethnomusicology (2006) both from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a PhD in African Musicology (2013) from the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a Fellow-Leventis Research Co-operation Programme SOAS, University of London 2014. His research interests include African Music with special focus on performance studies, music and environment, music in politics, music in wellbeing, and music in culture. His current research is an intervention with the use of music for flood disaster control in Oyo and Kogi states. He is currently with the Department of Music, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Osun State, Nigeria.
