Available at certain times of the year, the popular Biological Sciences Building comprises a large conference centre that includes 5 venues and two spacious foyers. The main lecture theatre, Zoology Major, seats 308 delegates whilst down stairs Zoology Minor 01 and 02 seat 97 respectively.

 All lecture theatres include fixed tiered seating and lecture benches, and are equipped with chalkboards, projector screens and overhead projectors. Zoo Major and Minor 01 are provided with data projector and public address (PA) systems. There is a large foyer outside each lecture theatre suitable for displays and social functions.
