Born and bred in Zimbabwe, I finished my undergraduate studies in Social Work and psychology (2013). During my social work studies I conducted a research project that focused on the socio-cultural and psychological challenges faced by gays, lesbians and bisexuals in Seshego (Limpopo). I completed my Honours in Psychology in 2014 and I was awarded with the Parabashini Appalsamy Memorial Prize in recognition of academic achievement.
My honours research focused on the themes in the South African Journal of Psychology (1999-2013) using a content analysis.
I am currently a second year Masters student within the CSSR team. My research focuses on the public participation of college students against sexual violence using a sexual citizenship framework.
