Sarah Moore is a lecturer and tutor co-ordinator in the Psychology Department at Rhodes University and is completing her PhD through the Critical Studies in Sexualities and Reproduction (CSSR) research programme. Her research will develop an intervention refinement instrument for youth sexuality education interventions, working in collaboration with Partners in Sexual Health and a research team of two Masters students, Thobile Mthethwa and Chanelle Descroizilles. Sarah completed her Masters thesis with the CSSR, entitled Policy responses to the sexual and reproductive health of queer youth in the Global South: A systematic review. Her research interests include feminist understandings of gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and youth sexuality education. She also has a significant interest in the development of theoretical understandings of social issues in contemporary South Africa within the fields of feminist, queer, and postcolonial theory.
