Graham House won their debate against Goldfields House and are through to the quarter finals, with the guidance of Vincent Thuku, the Graham House Transformation Rep.
The Inter – Res Debating Competition was launched on 4 May 2018 by the Equity & Institutional Culture Office, and the SRC. 53 residences will compete against each other, using transformation topics. The winning team will win a trophy and a trip to the World University Debating Championship (WUDC) in Cape Town. Radio 702 host, author and former World Masters Debate Champion, Eusebius McKaiser, was the guest speaker at the launch.
