Lise Westaway is the Head of Department for our new Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education.  Lise joined the department at the beginning of 2007. She teaches Mathematics Education and Education Studies (Curriculum, Childhood and Adolescence, Values, Assessment). Her research interests include mathematics education, particularly critical mathematics education which foregrounds human rights, social justice and active citizenship.
