The Accredited Journal, SAJEE

The ELRC edits and manages the production of the Southern African Journal of Environmental Education (SAJEE). This is an accredited, open source journal that is published annually (by December each year). For guidelines on how to contribute to the EEASA journal, visit the EEASA website http://www.eeasa.org.za/. Back issues of the journal can be downloaded from the EEASA website.

The 2015 edition of the journal is in-progress, and as the 31st edition, and as 2015 marks the end of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development, it has been decided it will be a special edition entitled, ‘Transforming education and society: Looking back and looking forward’.

A few journal highlights from recent years:

The 2014 journal is available in its electronic format from www.eeasa.org.za

In 2013, a double-volume of the SAJEE was published to make up for the lack of a 2012 volume (this was due to administrative problems in the journal production team). The 2012/2013 volume included two think pieces, 13 research papers and 3 viewpoints. This edition was well-received and is also available on the website.
