Your Residence Head of Gilbert Street Accommodation is Ms Zukiswa Kota. 6 Gilbert Street and the Gilbert Units are led by a strong student leadership team supported by Zukiswa Kota. Zukiswa is an alumnus of the Cluster. Zukiswa is also responsible for the Gilbert Street postgraduate accommodation and Livingstone House.

The Leadership Team strives to provide a feeling of "a home away from home". Academic excellence and good social well-being are highly valued in the Hobson Cluster. The residence is also supported by a dedicated Residence Student Assistant who plays a significant role in creating a sense of family within the house.
