Beauty was born and raised in Fingo Village, Grahamstown. She started working at Captain Dorego, a fish and chips shop, with her husband. After the shop closed down, Beauty did short courses in sewing. She is very well known in the Zion Christian Church and designs the church members’ outfits. Beauty took on temporary employment at Rhodes University in 2005, and joined ISER in 2011.
