Imbizo's - An Imbizo in African society is a gathering together to resolve issues. IAHU ran a series of imbizos that were open to the local communities. Each was led by guest experts, who invited participants to develop their own creative responses.

Conferences - The IAHU team has participated in local, national and international conferences to share their work

Special events - IAHU participates in a variety of once-off events, bringing performances, exhibitions, videos and talks.
