I am Mzwanele Mkatali, born in Grahamstown; I completed my matric at Glenmore location, Peddie. I was awarded a BSc. Degree by the University of Fort Hare. From 2007-2013, I was self-employed as a contractor at Working for Water in the project of planting spekboom and killing the alien invasive plants around Eastern Cape. Currently I am a Technical Assistant in IWR, my job is to culture and maintain laboratory organisms, calibrate lab and field measuring instruments, do water chemistry analysis, go to field trips in collection of macroinvertebrates and water samples for water quality testing, helping students in their field trips sample collection and their toxicity testing experiments in the lab, and also helps the students and researchers in packing the field trip equipment when needed.
