Thesis title:

A Trait-based Approach to Biomonitoring and Ecotoxicological Evaluating of the Response of Selected Macroinvertebrate to Elevated Sediment.

Brief biography and research interest

He was born in a town called in ubulu-uku, Delta state of Nigeria. He had his elementary education up to the university in the same country. He attended the prestigious Delta state university in his home state where he obtained his first university degree, a bachelors degree (Hons) in Chemistry technology. In the same institution, he also obtained a bachelors degree (Hons) in Animal and environmental biology (zoology).

He is currently registered as a master degree student in Water Resource Science starting from the 2016 academic session and his research interest currently, focuses on a trait-based approach to biomonitoring and ecotoxicology. He is looking at how selected macroinvertebrates traits, specifically traits of the EPOTs (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Odonata and Trichoptera) can be used to evaluate the effect of elevated sediment on water quality in selected streams in eastern Cape,  south Africa
