Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
I teach the Legal Practice Course to penultimate LLB students and also practise as an attorney at the Rhodes University Law Clinic. I completed my BA, LLB degree at Rhodes University and I am currently doing my Master’s Degree in Taxation at Rhodes University. After graduating my LLB from Rhodes I served articles with Smith Tabata Inc in East London as well as the Rhodes University Law Clinic in Grahamstown. After my admission as an attorney in 2011 I spent a year working as a junior attorney at Abdo and Abdo Attorneys in East London where I focused mainly on general litigation. In addition to teaching and practising as an attorney, I also serve as Proctor in student disciplinary matters as well a facilitator in the Ncedana Residence Peer Mentoring Programme and as a Oppidan Hall Fellow.
