My main research lies in the field of numerical relativity, that is, solving Einstein’s field equations on the computer.
I am currently working on implementing Cauchy-characteristic matching for the task of evolving binary black hole space-times and subsequently extracting gravitational waveforms directly from future null infinity. Although this has never been implemented successfully before, it is predicted to be much more computationally efficient than currently existing codes.
Other research I am currently working on includes the conformal field equations and asymptotic structure, and initial boundary value problems for Einstein's field equations.
