A leader in African Lanuguage Teaching
Prof Kaschula's leadership skills are not limited to the current position of NRF SARChI Chair, as he has held previous leadership positions at a number of institutions including the University of Cape Town (UCT) as well as Rhodes University where he was Head of the School of Languages. Whilst serving as Head of the School of Languages Prof Kaschula administered six different language sections housed within the school, as well as thirty full time lecturers and eight-hundred and fifty students.
