Lulu Brenda Harris

Lulu Brenda Harris is from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. She works for Radio Dialogue as a news reporter, covering diverse aspects such as developmental issues, political matters, community stories and business. Lulu also manages Radio Dialogue's online platforms, where she has specialised in new media technologies, particularly social media.

She holds a BA Honours degree in English and Communication from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. She is pursuing an MA degree in Journalism and Media Studies at the National University of Science and Technology simultaneously with studying the PDMM.

Lulu enrolled on the PDMM because she wanted to enhance her understanding of media management and how media houses can survive under the challenging economic and technological conditions affecting the industry. “There is a need for strong and well-trained managers to change this tide and a journalist-centred approach that can revive the media,” Lulu says.

She believes well trained and innovative managers who have vision can improve the running of media houses. Lulu likes solving crosswords and puzzles.
