Biography

Otilia Chiramba is a lecturer in the Division of Secondary and Post-School Education at Rhodes University, specialising in Educational Leadership and Management. She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her work at Rhodes includes teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervising postgraduate research, community engagement, academic administration, and research. Her research focuses on higher education, with an emphasis on teacher education, underprivileged and international students, and is informed by theories of organisational and student resilience, decolonisation, and social justice. She has published in DHET-accredited journals, contributed book chapters, edited three books, and guest-edited three special issues.
