There has been another attempted mugging in town involving a Rhodes student, and heightened caution is advised. On Tuesday 18 August a female student was accosted in Beaufort Street by a man who was not known to her. He began by striking up a conversation and then attacked her, grabbing her from behind and demanding money. She screamed and ran away without injury. Students are once again urged to be particularly vigilant and observant of their surroundings when walking late at night.
