RHODES HEALTH SUITE INDOOR CYCLING MARATHON
The Rhodes University Health Suite is hosting an indoor cycling marathon. This will take place for 12 hours on the 9th October 2009, during which both interested students and Grahamstown community members will be actively involved. This fun, spirited event has taken place for many years, and always draws a lot of support, enthusiasm, keen indoor cyclists and numerous interested participants who just want to cheer on a good cause. Indoor cycling bikes are set up in the aerobics hall, each of which is occupied by a cyclist for each of the 12 hours. An hour of time on a bike will cost R20.00, the proceeds of which go to the Rhodes University Health Suite’s community development fund, and will be donated to a chosen charity.
We call on all Rhodes Students and Staff to take up the challenge and make a difference.
