Rhodes University Ballroom and Latin Dancing Society hosted the annual South African Student National Ballroom and Latin American Dancing Competition for the 1st time this past weekend (29th August 2010).
This is the largest and most prestigious dance competition for University Students in South Africa. It was attended by Rhodes University, Tuks (University of Pretoria), NMMU, UCT, and Maties (University of Stellenbosch). With some Nationally and Internationally recognized adjudicators from all around South Africa Rhodes placed 2nd overall in the individual Sections.
