Sara Salgado Astudillo, is an Ecuadorian who completed her undergraduate at the University of Zamorano in Honduras. She completed two internships at University of Florida (2017) and University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2018) on "Hypersensitive Response of the Exotic Plant, Brazilian Peppertree (Schinus terebinthifolia Raddi) to Calophya spp. & Monitoring dispersal of the parasitoid Trichogramma ostriniae in cornfield to improve western bean cutworm management.  Sara started a Masters degree in 2019 in Entomology under the 'Tree and Higland Weeds Programme' in the CBC.
