I am a young driven and women from a small town of Mbizana in the Amampondo region of the Eastern Cape, a town with very rich heritage. I completed my honours degree at the University of Fort Hare, doing Plant physiology as my major research project looking at the physiological effects on germination and growth of Phaseolus vulgaris. I am currently working am working on the biological control of Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), using phytopathogens to enhance the insect biological control agent, Megamelus scutellaris, for biocontrol.
