Megan completed her undergraduate and honours degrees at Rhodes University and majored in entomology and zoology. Since she was young she has had a passionate interest in nature and a desire to do her part to help improve the world. Originally from Johannesburg, Megan fell in love with the Eastern Cape when she arrived at Rhodes and was utterly inspired by the work of Prof. Martin Hill, Prof. Julie Coetzee, and other researchers and workers involved in CBC and Working for Water. It is her desire to incorporate community engagement into her work as others at CBC have, to make a significant contribution to improving the world around her environmentally, socially, and economically. Megan tries her best to maintain a positive attitude, work hard to improve herself and her work, and to have fun while doing so.
