President Ubuntu Education Fund. Jacob Lief is the co-founder and president of the Ubuntu Education Fund, a non-profit organization that serves more than 4,000 vulnerable children in the townships of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. In 2009, Lief was selected as an Aspen Institute Global Fellow and was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum the following year.
