On 2 June, staff and students added their signatures to a scroll of goodwill, as part of the 1 + 1 = 1 Pledge Drive SA organised by Wilderness Vision. They were adding their voice to a countrywide call for environmental and social tolerance and accountability, as part of a global conservation initiative.
Another tree was planted in the Barratt car park area, signifying a small contribution to the Billion Tree Campaign.
The 1 + 1 = 1 Pledge Drive SA scroll of goodwill will be handed to the United Nations Environment Programme at a grand finale in Cape Town on Friday 19 June.
