Types & Costs

Rhodes University accepts applications from students who come from one of our partner Universities. If your University or College has an exchange agreement with Rhodes, please consult with your international office regarding the application and costs of coming to Rhodes University on exchange.

Kindly take note that this website is meant only to be a loose guideline. Only invoices issued by the Rhodes University International Office may be taken as authoritative when paying fees to Rhodes.

In general, there are three different types of mobility programmes on offer to students coming to Rhodes. The type of mobility programme you will come to Rhodes on depends on the type of agreement your University has with Rhodes.

Rhodes University gives preference to students that come from one of our partner Universities for purposes of exchange each year. If your University does NOT have an exchange agreement with Rhodes, you will need to come as a Study Abroad student. Applications from study abroad students will be considered after all our partner institutions have submitted their student’s applications.
