Nolwandle's research investigates how knowledge is formed and disseminated within marginalized groups and, through experimental philosophy, discerns whether various markers in one's social standing play a significant role in how knowledge claims are made. Her research uses experimental philosophy (x-phi), a relatively new method within philosophy, to understand our intuitions about knowledge.
