Tebogo Matshana

Honours Student

Tebogo Matshana lived in numerous parts of Gauteng as she was growing up. She attended Michael Mount Waldorf School, where she took a liking to the subject of Art. She pursued the study of art from early on during high school through to matric and into her university academic career, beginning in 2014. She temporarily resides in Grahamstown and is currently in her fourth year, completing her studies towards a BFA. She currently works primarily within the field of Digital Arts and thoroughly enjoys creative writing. Tebogo is passionate about animation as well as story telling. She employs the two as key elements in relaying the narratives she illustrates. The honours portfolio that she is currently compiling grapples with the idea of a transient border, particularly in the context of Southern Africa.
