Oriel Annexe is a gracious old house dating from 1910, previously occupied by a research unit, and now converted into an annexe to Oriel House.

Location

Situated in close proximity to the Library, Eden Grove, the Health Care Centre, and the Campus Protection Unit, Oriel House is very centrally placed. It accommodates the Residence Head and 52 students. There are 40 single bedrooms, and 6 double bedrooms, on three floors, with shared ablution facilities.

Resnet

Oriel House is connected to ‘Resnet’, the University Computer Network which enables students to connect to the Web from their bedrooms. There is a desktop computer and printer in the residence common room as well as many computer labs available on campus for you to use.

Amenities

The below amenities are available in Oriel House:

• An on site laundry facility, with 2 automatic washing machines and 2 tumble driers.
• Two shared living room areas (one with a smart TV and one with a desktop computer & printer)
• A shared microwave and fridge on the middle and top floor.
