His role in the COVID-19 Science Communication team is to assist in providing content such as written news articles, photographs and videos. He is a former director of Communications for the SA Medical Research Council (SA MRC), and Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). He worked as the national media and advertising manager of the Dept of Labour and is a former journalist.
