Bradley Bense, SRC President for 2014, addressed the audience at the end of the Inauguration ceremony. Of the 2013 SRC he said, "We've had a long road but we've done well."
He expressed his thanks to everyone who assisted in the inauguration and thanked the student body particularly for their efforts and said that he was looking forward to "working together with you, the most important people here, the students."
Of his experience in the SRC Bense said "I've learnt a lot from working with Sakhe Badi. I hope that I can fill his great shoes." Bense also thanked his friends and his girlfriend, Sarah Price-Jones, a former Media Councillor for the SRC, for their support.
