The Community Engagement office would like to encourage all students interested in volunteering in 2012 to collect application forms at the Community Engagement Office. Applications close 27 February 2012.
Please note that volunteers need to attend all three training sessions (25 February, 3 March and 4 March).
Here are some important dates that students need to look out for.
25 February: First Mandatory Training Session
What: Students will be meeting Community Partners and hearing about projects they can select from

When: 9:00-13:00
(Tea and Lunch Provided)
27 February 2012: Application forms due
What: Please submit application forms to the Community Engagement Office
When: Closing time to submit applications is 17:00.
27 February-29 February 2012: Project placement Sign up
Students are asked to please fill in the times they are available on the notice board outside of the CE office. Please ensure that the times you select do not clash with your academic commitments (lectures and tutorials).The project placement signup sheets will be up at these times:
Monday 27/02/2012 - 8:00-17:00
Tuesday 28/02/2012 - 08:00-17:00
Wednesday 29/02/2012 - 08:00- 14:00
3rd March & 4th of March (Saturday and Sunday): Mandatory Training Sessions
What: All student volunteers must attend both training sessions

6th of March 2012: CE Representative meeting
What: We invite all student community representatives to attend a meeting at the Community Engagement office. This includes CE reps from residences, sports clubs and departments

When: 17:00-19:00
