The Sustainability and Innovation Congress Africa Satellite Event held 21 – 24 May 2024 was a pivotal gathering that showcases the wealth of African perspectives in sustainability science and innovation. This event served as a dynamic platform for cross-cutting plenary sessions, parallel thematic sessions, and live discussion tables, bringing together diverse research and innovation communities. It aims to share successes, foster collaborations, and work across disciplines and sectors to support a global transformation to sustainability in Africa.
During this event, FEAH and FEAHLC manned an exhibition stand where the Hub and the Leadership Centre displayed and distributed materials to the participants. The Leadership Centre also organised three sessions that were well attended. The sessions presentations and discussions focused on the Future Earth Africa Hub and its Leadership Centre planned activities will thrive to shape the future of knowledge co-production and transformation co-design toward sustainability in Africa.
