The Department of Fine Art Black Feminist Killjoy reading group meetings happen every second Tuesday in the School of Fine Art Seminar Room (the building on Somerset Street) from 4.30 – 6.30 (our first meeting for the year will be on the 29th of February).
We engage the creative productions and theoretical perspectives of women-of-colour from across the world (fiction and non-fiction, film, visual artwork, popular culture). Every fourth meeting, we invite members to bring their own material and share with the group about works/persons/videos/films/music by women that inspires and influences them.
