Policies

Human resource policies are important documents for demonstrating the University’s intent as regards people management. They provide staff and HoDs and managers will critical information as regards institutional expectations related to people management and provide a basis for ensuring accountability as regards processes. Below are the policies for which the HR Division takes responsibility. These policies have all been approved through the relevant committees of the University.

Protocols

Protocols are procedural documents which outline the rules or principles of operation. These documents, depending on the nature of the issue and level of consultation required, may serve before relevant committees of the University and/or may be discussed with the relevant union/s and management.  Protocols do not require approval.
