For the third year running, the Rhodes Business School in collaboration with the Departments of Education and Management at Rhodes University hosted Heads of Departments of schools in Grahamstown at an awards ceremony where they were recognised for their participation in the Short Course in School Leadership last night.
The Certificate in School Leadership is a programme focused on developing the leadership capacity of the members of a school’s management team, particularly Principals, Deputy Principals and Heads of Department. It aims to develop competencies related to effective and ethical school leadership and is presented in three 2-day teaching blocks, usually during the school holidays. A new cohort of school leadership will start a new teaching block tomorrow.
