Jinghao Lu

Jinghao Lu is currently enrolled on the Sofaer iMBA program at Tel Aviv University and is also participating in the Hinrich Global Trade Scholarship program. Originally from China, he received both Master of International Affairs and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology as a Schreyer Honors Scholar from Pennsylvania State University.

Between 2011 and 2013 Jinghao worked as a China-Africa analyst for a research strategy and investment firm in Johannesburg. He planned and led high-level business trips involving senior executives of multinational corporations seeking marketing and project negotiations in China and organized training programs and business conferences to bridge Africa and China business worlds.

Jinghao has an academic background in China-Africa economic relations. He started to read about the topic since 2008. In 2009 and 2011, he conducted his thesis research in Accra, Ghana, focusing on Chinese corporate practices and social investment in Ghana. After graduation, he continued to write on this topic for global media, including The Guardian, Engineering News and Peoples Daily.
