With thoughts of how to address the backlog of learning within their school, these teachers came to talk to Debbie about some kind of intervention. The pilot project is to determine what can be used from the Maths Recovery programme and how it can be implemented in their school |

Organising and running a Math Relay competition at her school: |
August 2013 |
During the 3rd term she will have 3 relays: Gr 6 learners, Gr 5 learners and before the end of the term with the Gr 4 learners. The 3 groups that came 1st will go to finals in the 4th term. She is planning on making it a yearly competition and maybe extending the challenge to other schools at a later stage. |

Start after school maths clubs at their school |

After seeing a piece in the Grocotts, these teachers approached Debbie to see if they could run clubs in their school. The SANC project ran a workshop for about 12 teachers on how to start a club. |
