DVC's Circular on Compulsory Service

Date: 20 October 2010
To: Rhodes University Students
From: Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Academic & Student Affairs

It has come to the attention of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor that some students have not completed within the designated time periods their compulsory service handed down by either a Proctor or Hall Warden or Warden.

This serves to remind students who fall into such a category that they shall have their results withheld. In addition, all students who have applied for residence for 2011 and meet the requirements shall receive a provisional acceptance, based on the condition that they have no outstanding compulsory service.

If you are one such a student, you are strongly advised to urgently make contact with the University officials and make appropriate arrangements to do your compulsory service.
