Cameron speaks at Rhodes on HIV and AIDS

PORT ELIZABETH. – Rhodes University in Grahamstown is planning a special AIDS Day for tomorrow, with the theme “Getting to Zero”.

Judge Edwin Cameron of the Constitutional Court will also be delivering a speech. His theme will be: “Four major issues in AIDS:  prevention, testing, treatment and stigma – a judge’s personal perspective.”

Hush! The controversial theatre performance on the theme of AIDS by the Eastern Cape Theatre company UBom! will be presented in the Rhodes Theatre as a part of the day’s events.

The piece has been described as an amusing and powerful production which “focuses on subjects not mentioned in polite conversation.” –
