It is business as usual for Makana Municipality as the South African Municipal Workers’ Union (SAMWU) have ended their sit-in and have returned to work as of 25 March. However, according to SAMWU chairperson, Zola Kolisi, the return to work might be temporary if the municipality does not meet the demands put forth by the workers.
