First Things First Testing Campaign

Good day all, The Rhodes University Health Care Centre, HIV & Staff Wellness Office and SRC in partnership with the Department of Health (DoH), Raphael Centre, Jabez Centre and Khethimpilo will be facilitating the first session of its "First Thing's First HIV testing Campaign" during the week of the 14 – 18 May 2018. This drive will include a free test for HIV, TB screening, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure (BP), Nutrition Assessment (BMI), Family Planning and Pap smear. Pap smear will be done at the Health Care Centre. Testing stations will be at the Eden Grove Foyer, Bicycle Lawns and Steve Biko Lawns (8h30 - 16h00). First Things First aims to help students, as future leaders, to be responsible, get tested for HIV, know their status and commit to behaviour that would benefit them and their peers.
