Enahoro and Edgar on a trip to Mausund Fieldstation, Norway
AWaRMN doctoral scholars, Edgar Tumwesigye and Enahoro Owowenu participated in the concluding conference of the third cohort of the South Africa/Norway (SANO) Exchange Program and Interns for sustainability project funded by the Norwegian Retailer’s Environment Fund. The program which is part of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Action Ocean Plastic Waste focus, is aimed at inspiring and motivating students and young researchers to engage in topics related to combatting Ocean Plastic Waste and inspiring action in pursuit of UN SDG 14. The SANO Exchange is jointly operated with Sustainable Seas Trust (SST) in South Africa.
The concluding conference for the third cohort of young researchers and students was held from 13 -19 August 2023 in Trondheim, Norway.
