Brief background and description of current position

Alioune KANE, currently is a Professor of Continental Hydrology (CAMES, 2003), his teachings are in watershed hydrology and ecohydrology, water crisis, governance and geopolitics, adaptation strategies and resilience of populations and ecosystems face to climate change. He continues to provide supervision of thesis and master's degree. He coordinates the West African network of NEPAD Centres of Excellence on Water Science and Technology (WANWATCE).
