Tadala Kadula holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences Majoring in Psychology and Sociology, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences Honours degree in Sociology, both obtained at Rhodes University. Her BSSHons dissertation was th analysis of the experiences of Black students from disadvantaged backgrounds at Rhodes University, with a specific focus on three themes:

the commodification of education, the Eurocentric curriculum and institutional culture.

She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Sciences degree at the Sociology Department, Rhodes University, with her current interests on Mental Health & Illness as well as Social Policies."
